Our 12's team continued their hot start to their young tournament season.  After a semi-final finish in their first event that came up just short of a championship appearance in a rain plagued event in Janesville, they got over the hurdle this past weekend and went undefeated (4-0-1) in the Waukesha event.   They beat some solid teams on their way to the championship knocking out GRB Rays, BATS Academy, and then defeated the Thundercats (Madison/Sun Prairie area) 3-1 in the championship game.

 

This gritty bunch of 10 turned multiple double plays, executed offensively and had enough pitching to carry them to the title.  Truly a team effort for this group of great young ladies.  They will play in their third event this weekend up in Mequon!
