Both of our 16U teams were in action in showcase events this past weekend.  The 16U Blue was attending the PGF Stars and Stripes Showcase in St. Charles, IL; and the the 16U Gray crew was in Columbus, OH at the Buckeye Showdown Recruitfest.  The Blue crew went 5-1-1 in their event.  4-0-1 during pool and showcase and 1-1 in bracket play. They battled teams from Illinois, Indiana, in Wisconsin.     

The Gray wobbled out of the gate in their event suffering two close losses (4-1 and 3-0) before rebounding to roll off 5 wins in a row to win their bracket that played through Saturday and Sunday.  They racked up victories over teams from Ontario, Canada, New York, Ohio (2), and Kentucky.  

The Blue is off this weekend while the Gray team heads down to Illinois for another showcase.  Both teams will be Michigan for a large PGF showcase event next weekend before wrapping up their respective seasons with Championship level events (PGF and ASA) at the end of the month.
