This past weekend our Rage 10U team participated in their first tournament of the season.
We traveled to Cudahy to participate in their NSA World Series Qualifier.
It was great to finally get into some real game action after having only scrimmages over the last month.
The teams we matched up were a tough draw for our young crew, but we showed improvement each game out. Girls are beginning to find some semi-permanent positions, and are understanding what roles those positions require of them.
The best part of the weekend was getting to spend all-day on Saturday hanging out together. Beyond the wins and losses the girls are beginning to really bond and are having fun just being goofy 8-10 year old girls. From the dog pile on the blanket episode, to the attempt at a human pyramid, you see the fun that they are having together and it’s fantastic!
Our next tournament is the last weekend of the month when we head out to New Berlin. We’ll have a few more practices under our belt and can’t wait to get back on the field!
