This past weekend the 14U Rage girls traveled to Janesville to play in the Cyclone Clash. Team went 5-1 on the weekend with the only loss, a 2-0 setback, coming at the hands of the New Berlin Heat Red. The girls rolled through pool play outscoring their opponents 30-2 in three games.
As the #1 seed out of their pool they then earned victories over the Janesville Cylcones Green (13-2), and Janesville Cyclones Black (3-2) before the matchup with the Heat. Great pitching was the theme for the weekend as the team only allowed 6 runs over the entire tournament. If not for one sequence of three batters in the the Championship game the team might have gone 6-0 and earned their first 14U title. All of the girls had a hand in the wins and family and friends should be proud of the effort the girls put forth on the diamond.
