The flip to 2014 switched gears for our teams from 1st to 2nd gear. 1st gear was the "getting to know you" phase for each team as they welcomed new players; or in the case of the 10U group - an entire new team! 2nd gear is where each team has cranked practices into high gear with 1 or 2 a week with an eye on real competition just a few months away. Players are taking their individual pitching and hitting lessons to hone their skills to get the most out of their talents.
The countdown to the start of the season has begun for all our teams with the 10U and 14U getting started first in Mid-May at the NSA National Qualifier in Cudahy, while the 18U crew will take the field for the first time at a yet-to-be-determined event in June after the the completion of the Wisconsin high school season. All of these events lead up to our annual pilgrimage to the site of the Wisconsin ASA State "B" Softball Championships. This year, like the last two years, the event will be held in the Wausau area. Each of our teams are hoping for strong showings in the events leading up to State. The countdown clock takes us down to the start of that annual event. For other tournament entries that each team has entered for 2014, you can visit the calendar page of the website and search by each team to see where they are playing.
